About Jason Hine
Jason Hine, Museum Interpreter, currently works with the demonstration team teaching maritime history through story-telling and the utilization of traditional sailors’ skills.
He is a former private and public school teacher. Additionally, he has sailed (briefly) as crew on the Brig Niagara, the Schooner Amistad, the Bark Eagle, and the Bark Picton Castle. He has completed course work in Maritime Studies at the Munson Institute and is currently working to create Google Earth Maps highlighting the historic voyages of the bark, Charles W. Morgan. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University.
