About Kathleen Neumann
Kathleen Neumann teaches 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Social Studies at the Morgan School in Clinton, CT. She has a Bachelors and a Masters in History from UMASS-Amherst, and a background in education and museum work. She is very excited to be a part of the MSE team and to meet and work together with other teachers from across the state on such a wonderful project.
Kathleen enjoys learning more about the history behind the objects in the collection at Mystic Seaport and how to make that history more accessible to teachers and students alike. She currently resides in Colchester, CT (a small town located conveniently at least thirty minutes from anywhere you need to be) with her husband and four goldfish. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing the violin, contra dancing, watching Downton Abbey and thinking about how she should go to the gym more often.
