Create a soliloquy that may have been said by Mr. Wilcox about the situation of the Amistad and his role in inventorying the ship.  Turn this soliloquy into a song or poem.

Imagine you are writing a play about the story of the Amistad.  What characters would you include in the story?  Would Luis Norris Wilcox be part of the story?  Write one scene that would include Mr. Wilcox, and what you think he would have done aboard the ship.
