Virtual Planetarium Summer Series: Ojibwe Star Lore and an Upcoming Eclipse

Join us on Thursday, July 2 for the second program in our “What’s New in the Night Sky” virtual summer series. This 6-part collection offers a different program every two weeks, celebrating the diversity of the night sky by highlighting the star lore of a different culture. This week, we will preview a lunar eclipse that will be visible in North America on the night of July 4. We will then celebrate our nation’s birthday by exploring the constellations of the Ojibwe (Chippewa) Native American tribe.
