Description

Scrimshaw whale tooth with engraving of a woman holding a bonnet which is colored red, blue and green.  On reverse side is an outline of a horse standing on a cross-hatched floor.  The image of the woman holding the bonnet is from "Harper's New Monthly Magazine," August 1854.
