Excerpt from Norwich Bulletin Sept 23, 1865 "...Patented a few weeks since, simple but powerful machine. First four-wheeled machine adapted to common style of cart wheels. On account of simplicity of construction, cheapness and great power will attract much attention at coming fair at Norwich...Fitted to four wheels by means of curved reaches, forming a triangular derrick. Will swing clear largest stone under ten tons. Man and boy can work the machine." Norwich Bulletin Sept. 23, 1865."
