Writing Prompt:  If this dress could tell a story about Rebecca Benson's life, what would it say about her fashion sensibility and the type of person she was?

Using simple supplies such as paper and colored pencils, create a wardrobe for a sea captain's wife.  Select a particular decade or time period for the students and have them consider what she might have needed for the various activities, chores, and excursions she would have participated in.
